This course meets the 3 required hours for Category I (MREC broker, branch office manager, and team leader supervision)

Welcome to the MREC Required Supervision Course. This three-hour course explores the vital supervisory role that brokers, branch managers, and team leaders play.

Whether you’re acting as a broker, branch office manager, or team leader, it’s your duty to provide adequate and reasonable supervision to other licensees and independent contractors doing business on behalf of your brokerage. The consequences for failing to provide this support can be severe; in fact, you could lose your license and be required to pay a hefty fine.

Throughout this course, we’ll carefully review exactly what it means to provide adequate and reasonable supervision. In addition, we’ll look at how your supervisory responsibilities apply to various special issues, such as the formation of intra-company agency relationships, the use of advertisements and trade names, the proper handling of deposits, and so much more.
